Bari and her team focused on the classic details, specifying traditional low level panelling, a calming palette, lanterns down the corridor length, bespoke herringbone wood flooring with a brass trim, and a feature arch framing out the bedrooms. Maximising small spaces, the kitchen focuses on full height cabinetry, a full width range, and concealed appliances to create continuity for a polished result.
The lounge has been carefully zoned for various usages; dining for both everyday and entertaining, a TV seating area, joinery for additional storage that also doubles as a bar with space for family living and entertaining. The almost 4 metre tall windows in this historical mansion building were the stars of the show. Carefully restored and minimally dressed, for a less is more approach.
