Blank Slate is dedicated to thoughtful interior design practice, aiming to create comfortable and approachable interior spaces by deeply understanding each client’s perspective.
Bari leads all design projects and is a central figure in all client relationships. Having a hands-on approach and getting to know clients, understanding their needs and preferences, winning their trust and collaborating with them is at the heart of Bari’s work; and it’s something she finds particularly rewarding.
Bari studied textile design and interior architecture at the Fashion Institute of Technology as well as trained under several renowned designers in New York City before moving to London in 2014 to start Blank Slate. She lives in west London with her husband, three children and two french bulldogs.

Immy has a degree in Interior Architecture & Design from Sheffield Hallam University and has worked at a number of design studios before joining the Blank Slate Studio team. When she is not in the studio, you can find her scouring antique treasure troves with yorkshire tea in hand.

Interior Designer
Joanna studied business management at Royal Holloway and worked as a Financial Analyst for a number of years before discovering her true pathway was within the interiors and architecture sector, she then studied Interior Design at the University Of the Arts London. When she's not in the studio, she's renovating her new home with her dog, Raja not far behind.

THE studio
Based in West London, Blank Slate works globally on private residences and boutique commercial properties. With a thoughtful and considered approach, they recognize that each client is unique, with different tastes and visions, and that no two spaces are alike, each with its own personality, proportions, and natural light. They draw upon historical influences and art, blending old and new elements, and layering rich, characterful details with a focus on texture, materials, and light to create balance and harmony.
At Blank Slate, Bari and her team work on a select number of interior projects at a time, currently handling projects across the U.K, Europe, and the U.S. Their projects typically involve designing the entire property from initial concept to final completion.
